Equine Assisted Self Awareness
We are excited to be offering this program at Todd Hill Farm!
Hands On Horses – Equine Assisted Self Awareness (EASA)
This is a non-riding program that promotes the development of healthy life skills and coping strategies, for educational, professional and personal development through equine-assisted activities. The horse is the teacher! Our certified facilitators lead exercises that incorporate horses into a group or team for hands-on interactive challenges.
In a low stress setting, the horse-human interaction is guided by a planned and objective-driven learning experience to meet the identified goals of the participant(s).
Learning with horses provides an opportunity to teach critical life skills such as trust, respect, honesty, leadership, problem-solving, teamwork and communication as well as profound personal healing.
Who can benefit from EASA? Everyone! Examples include . . .
• Youth at risk
• Corporate Teams
• First Responders
• Victims and perpetrators of bullying or abuse
• Home School Families
• Behaviorally-challenged youth
• Victims of trauma (PTSD)
• Those seeking more self awareness
• Those seeking to overcome fears & social phobias
This is a 6 week program running October 14th - November 25th at a cost of $375 + HST per participant
